Walgreens Prescription Savings Club

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

Walgreens, the nation’s largest drugstore chain, is no longer a part of Express Scripts’ pharmacy provider network. This is because the contract between Walgreens and Express Script has expired last December 31. Express Scripts’ decision not to renew its contract with Walgreens has upset thousands of customers. The new Express Scripts program does not allow their customers to have their prescription filled at any of Walgreens branch. They are now forced to either change pharmacist or go to a far away pharmacy just to buy their medications. Military personnel, retirees and their families, who are under the Tricare program of Express Scripts, have started signing a petition to demand access to Walgreens whenever they are in need of pharmacy services. In their continuing effort to help their customers, Walgreens Prescription Savings Club has been launched. A $10 family membership makes one eligible to avail of various benefits including discounts and savings on every purchase of medications and specific medical supplies. Bonuses are also given to members who purchase Walgreens brand products. You can learn more of the benefits that Prescription Savings Club offers to its members when you follow Walgreens on Twitter and when you like the Walgreens on Facebook page.
